EGO batteries come in a range of amp hour sizes and will fit all of their machines, this means if you purchased a battery and charger when you got your first tool the battery can be used in any other tool intended to take an EGO slide on battery system, the only thing is if you got a 2.5Ah battery for your hedge cutter and you want to purchase a blower the battery will fit and it will run the tool but as the blower uses a lot more energy than a hedge cutter it won’t run it for long so a 5 Ah battery would be better on run time but also heavier so not so good for a hedge cutter.
